Making music like weaving: repeating and alternating motifs and patterns until a unique, unrepeatable work takes shape. This performance seeks to capture the present moment of experimentation and exploration.
The trio’s approach is based on repetition, static loops, overlapping layers, luminous guitars, and processed or distorted voices, accompanied by rhythms recorded live in real time and shaped by different effects. Throughout the performance, traditional dramatic development and conventional climaxes are avoided in favour of a contemplative tone, immersing the listener in an almost hypnotic state.
The musicians engage in a dialogue on stage, drawing their musical language from other genres (ambient, post-rock, experimental music...). They inhabit familiar sonic elements and rearrange them with a different intention and meaning, seeking to create together a grand, beautiful and ephemeral collective work.
All of this will be accompanied by audiovisuals by Toni Cobos, aka Fill Espectro, generated in real time, just like the sonic universe.
The audience also becomes part of this web of connections and, ultimately, completes the work, as the other musicians will not hear the actual sounds of the processed drums during the performance.
The conceptual starting point is the song “Come Wander with Me” and the universe of The Twilight Zone. The performance explores a sense of dissociation and an escape into a parallel, hypnotic dreamlike universe that invites introspection and reflection.
