The Festival of Electronic Music, Mixed Music and Videoprojection (ME_MMIX) once again presents, from November 13 to 24, in Palma de Mallorca and other venues across the Balearic Islands, its distinctive encounter with experimental music and digital arts. The Mallorcan event aims to be a living space for exchange and debate among creators, audiences, and professionals from all backgrounds — a platform for discovery, connection, and artistic provocation.
In this new edition, the Festival strengthens its clear commitment to opening culture to everyone, with more programs, more venues, and more dialogues. ME_MMIX continues to grow and expand throughout the archipelago: in 2025 it will occupy more than ten venues across Mallorca and Menorca, hosting concerts, installations, professional meetings, and live podcasts.
Among the main highlights is the screening of Notations, the documentary film by Marion Kalter about Boulez, which will feature the presence of the Austrian photographer and filmmaker herself. The tribute to Boulez and Luciano Berio will also be reflected in the recitals by saxophonist Rafel Caldentey (November 14) and oboist Pilar Fontalba (November 21). Meanwhile, Martin Matalon will bring his music to the silent films of Buster Keaton, performed by the Multilatérale collective (November 19). Guest ensembles include Vertixe Sonora [pictured], Grupo Ekho, K12, Geometrical Sardine, and AlterFace.
