The ME_MMIX electronic music and video projection festival is heading into its final weekend, with activities and concerts at the Es Baluard museum.

This Saturday, the festival is offering a non-stop program at Es Baluard, where there are also drink stands and food trucks. This afternoon, Alter Face, EMEA, Marta Verde and José Venditti, and Vertixe Sonora will perform. The day will end with a session by Ishak Benavides DJ, an electronic music composer.

During the morning, podcasts were recorded and there were conferences such as the one by Magda Polo Pujadas, professor of Aesthetics and Theory of the Arts and of Music History at the University of Barcelona. The Swiss ensemble Umsn’JIP and the Catalan group Grup Ekho also performed.

The festival will close this Sunday with professional meetings and performances by Artista Desconocido—a family activity—and Regrat Duo.

This past Friday, the ME_MMIX moved from Can Balaguer to Es Baluard, where a new podcast was recorded with Haize Lizarazu, Neus Estarelles and Pilar Fontalba, hosted by Margalida Mateu. In the afternoon, DJ EMEA, Neus Estarellas and Ishak Benavides performed.
