Welcome Professional Gatherings

Artists, programmers, researchers, and cultural managers will arrive in Palma at the start of the festival to connect experiences and turn ME_MMIX into a space of convergence, debate, and positive “contamination” around contemporary sound, visual, and digital creation.
The professional days are designed to boost contracting, collaborations, and the professionalization of the sector.
During the festival there will be professional meetings specifically for the music and digital arts sector; speed meetings between artists and cultural agents, round tables, and discussions on urgent issues such as artificial intelligence, immersive creation, stage presence, or sustainability in live art.
In this edition, the focus will be on hybrid practices, experimental electroacoustics, and the relationship between sound, image, and technology.
